Great style deserves great service right through to the checkout. Kouture Konect supports several ways to pay for ready-to-wear orders, consultations, and designer invoices. This guide covers the available methods and how checkout works.
Available Payment Methods
Method | Where it works | Notes |
Credit / debit card | Checkout for all purchases and invoices | The standard method; card details are encrypted and not stored in plain text |
Bank transfer | Where enabled for your region | Follow the transfer instructions shown at checkout and allow time for the bank to confirm |
Wallet balance | Checkout and invoices, if your wallet holds funds | Deducted instantly from your available balance |
How Checkout Works
At checkout, select your preferred method and follow the on-screen prompts. You will see the full breakdown — item price, shipping, and any fees — before you confirm, and the total appears in your active currency. A successful payment confirms your order or booking immediately.
Currency
Prices display in your active currency setting (for example, Naira). You can change the display currency in the app header. Invoices issued by designers may be in USD, NGN, EUR, or GBP depending on the designer's setting — you pay in the currency shown on the invoice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why did my card payment fail? Most failures come from the card issuer: insufficient funds, an international-payment block, or a mismatched billing address. Check with your bank if retries fail. If a payment was deducted but no order was created, contact support with the bank reference.
Can I split payment across methods? No. Each order is paid with a single method. If you want to combine wallet and card, withdraw or convert funds beforehand (see The customer wallet).
Is there a fee for paying? The transaction fee is part of the platform's standard 15.5% charge on completed sales, borne by the seller — see Platform fees. You are not charged an extra checkout fee.
