A perfect fit starts with perfect numbers. Designers need your measurements to make pieces that fit, and Kouture Konect supports two ways to provide them: submitting them manually, or generating them with AI body measurement. This guide covers the manual route; the AI route is covered in KA-403.
Entering Measurements Manually
Go to More → My Measurements on your profile.
Choose the measurement entry for your order and enter each value your designer has requested.
Measurements you provide are shared with the designer handling your order.
What Measurements Designers Usually Ask For
For most garments, designers ask for chest/bust, waist, hips, shoulder width, sleeve length, and overall garment length. Different pieces need different sets — your designer will tell you exactly which values they need before you submit anything.
Getting Accurate Numbers
Measure over the clothes you would wear under the garment, keep the tape level and snug but not tight, and ask someone to help where you cannot reach. When in doubt between two numbers, designers prefer the slightly larger one — taking in a garment is easier than letting it out.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which measurements should I enter if the designer has not specified? Do not guess. Ask your designer which values they need; different styles require different measurement sets.
Are my measurements stored on the platform? Yes, within your account, and shared with the designer for your order. They stay in your account for future orders.
Can I update my measurements later? Yes. Edit them under More → My Measurements at any time; the designer sees the current values for new orders.
