The home screen organises the marketplace into categories, so you can shop by style rather than by search term — a little like walking through a boutique where everything is already curated. This guide covers the main category shelves and how they work.
Popular Categories
Scroll horizontally across the home screen to browse curated sections:
Evening / Formal — formalwear for events and ceremonies.
African Print — pieces built around African print fabrics.
Casual — everyday styles.
Red Carpet Looks — statement pieces for high-profile events.
Bridal Gown — wedding and wedding-party attire.
Dinner — dinner and evening-out styling.
Tailored Looks (Men) — tailored menswear.
Date Night Looks — styling for evenings out.
How Categories Are Updated
Categories are curated by the Kouture Konect team from the designs and products designers and vendors list on the platform. New additions appear as sellers upload them, so checking the shelves regularly is a good way to spot fresh work.
Getting Around From a Category
Tap any category shelf to open its full listing, where you can filter and sort exactly as you would in search. From any item, tap the designer's name to visit their storefront and see their full range.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I find fabric types rather than finished clothing? Use the Shop Fabrics horizontal shelf on the home screen, or search the Fabrics path (see Searching for products, designs, fabrics, and designers).
Why does a category I expected not appear? Categories are curated, so not every style has a dedicated shelf. Use search or the Explore tab to find styles outside the curated categories.
