Two-factor authentication and biometric login

Written by Support

Beautiful pieces deserve a beautiful lock. Two-factor authentication (2FA) and biometric login add extra protection to your Kouture Konect account so your styles, your orders, and your wallet stay yours alone. This guide explains what they do and how to turn them on.

Two-Factor Authentication

With 2FA enabled, every login requires your password plus a one-time code sent to your registered email. Even if someone learns your password, they cannot get into your account without access to your email.

To enable 2FA: go to More → Security → Two-Factor Authentication and toggle it on. Sign-out confirmation of the change may require an OTP code.

Biometric Login

Biometric login lets you open the app using your phone's fingerprint or face recognition instead of typing your password. It is convenient on your own device; it does not replace your password.

To enable biometrics: go to More → Security → Biometric Login and toggle it on. Your device will ask you to confirm with your fingerprint or face.

Which Should You Turn On?

Both, if you can. Biometric login covers everyday access, and 2FA protects the account itself. If you use a shared device, consider enabling 2FA without biometrics so your account stays locked behind your credentials.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I enabled 2FA and no longer have access to my email. What do I do? Contact support at [email protected] immediately. They will verify your identity before making changes to your account.

  • Does 2FA slow me down every time I log in? You enter a code when you log in on a new device or after signing out. Active sessions on your own devices stay logged in, so everyday use is not affected.

  • Can I turn off 2FA later? Yes, from the same Security settings. We recommend keeping it on, especially if your account holds a wallet balance.
