Email verification and OTP codes

Written by Support

When you sign up, log in from a new device, or set your transaction PIN, a 6-digit code is sent to your registered email (or phone, if you signed up by phone). Enter the code on the verification screen to complete the action. The code is valid for 15 minutes from the time it is sent.

What to Do If the Code Does Not Arrive

  • Check your spam and promotions folders. Verification emails often land there.

  • Wait for the on-screen countdown (about 30 seconds) to finish, then tap Resend to get a fresh code.

  • Only one active code exists at a time. The newest code you request is the one that works; older codes stop working.

  • Make sure the email address you entered is correct and matches your inbox.

Tips That Prevent Problems

Enter the code manually rather than copy-pasting from a mail preview, as previews sometimes show partial digits. Do not request many codes in quick succession — rapid requests can trigger a short delay as a security measure. Keep your registered email address current so codes reach the right inbox.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • My code expired before I could use it. What now? Tap Resend on the verification screen and enter the new code within 15 minutes. There is no penalty for an expired code.

  • I got the code but the app will not accept it. Make sure you are entering the most recent code, not an earlier one. If several requests were made, only the latest code is valid. If it still fails, try again after a few minutes or contact support.

  • Can I change my verification email address later? Yes. Update your email in your account settings. Your new email becomes the destination for OTP codes once changed.

  • Is the OTP my password? No. The OTP is a one-time code used only for that specific verification. Your password remains your main login credential.
