My delivery attempt failed

Written by Support

Sometimes a courier arrives and the delivery does not go through — it is a hiccup, not the end of the story. This guide explains the common reasons, what happens next, and what you should do.

Common Reasons for a Failed Attempt

The rider could not reach you by phone, no one was available to receive the package, the address was incomplete or unclear, or the location was inaccessible. Tracking will usually show a status such as "Delivery attempt failed" or "Returned to hub".

What Happens Next

Most couriers attempt redelivery automatically within one to two business days. The seller is notified of the failure and should reach out through the order thread. If redelivery does not happen within two business days, contact the seller — they arranged the shipment and can push the courier.

What You Can Do

Keep your phone reachable during the delivery window, confirm your address details are complete (including a landmark if your area is hard to find), and consider arranging someone to receive the package if you will be out. An unclaimed package that cycles back to the seller is treated under the dispute and refund rules if you no longer want it.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Will I be charged again for redelivery? No. Redelivery attempts on the original order do not carry an additional charge to you.

  • What if the courier marked it delivered but I never received it? Do not confirm receipt. Raise a dispute immediately — see Raising a dispute on an order — with your delivery address details and any evidence you have.

  • Can I collect the package from the hub myself? Some couriers allow collection from their depot. Ask the seller to check with the courier; do not go to a courier location without confirming first.
